OECD chief says still backs UK austerity programme

LONDON (Reuters) - The head of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development said on Thursday the multinational think-tank continued to support Britain's austerity measures, dismissing a report it had changed its stance on the pace of spending cuts.
